The easy to follow chart has a colour wash behind the black and white symbols which provides a clearer image of the design. Anchor and DMC stranded cotton and tapestry wool references are included, together with fabric and canvas suggestions.

The cross stitch version is designed for stitching with 3 strands on 14 count aida giving a finished result that is far richer in colour and texture.
